Our Purpose

The Indian agriculture industry faces many different challenges every season – to give a perspective, 50% of the land under agriculture in India is dependent on rainfall. Since 52% of the total working population is employed in Agriculture and the contribution to the GDP is around 18%, high dependence on rainfall means that the Indian population and the country’s economy is largely at the mercy of timely rains.

The only way to solve these issues is by bringing the strengths of the brick and mortar system and knowledge and agri-practices of the rural communities together by using technology. We set out to create a platform and built local teams to be able to bring the farmers, retailers and manufacturers on to the system.
